This is our 2nd time staying in Peter & Jennifer's cottage and I think we are officially making it a fall tradition. We felt so at home between Peter & Jennifer's friendly messages and how much we love the space - there is a ton of natural light, water views, a wildlife parade (we saw deer and turkeys every day and did some great birdwatching!), and just a general sense of peacefulness. We woke up to views of the Maine coast, drove up and down that coast in the mornings, and then came back to relax by the fire in the late afternoons. Even when the weather turned wet and windy, this was a beautiful spot to relax.

This is such a gem of an Airbnb! We were so lucky to find it after an unexpected last-minute change of plans. Peter and Jennifer have created the perfect Maine camp on the coast. It is full of the traditional rustic charm found in a “camp”, but is thoughtfully updated and beautifully decorated. The location couldn’t be better. It’s ideal for exploring the Schoodic Peninsula, Great Wass Island, and Donnell Ponds Public Lands, with Petit Manan literally right out the front door. Our 3.5-year-old loved watching the wildlife that visited the yard and had the best time hiking to and playing on the beaches of Petit Manan. The setting is peaceful and exactly what you hope for in a Maine coastal retreat. The house had everything we needed to cook and relax, and Peter and Jennifer were so communicative and kind. We still left plenty to explore, and we’d love to come back. Highly, highly recommend!
